Follow on Google News | Christmas tree farmer launches tree topper competitionBudding young artists who design a brilliant tree topper will be in with the chance of choosing a festive fir for their school from one of the county’s leading Christmas tree farms.
By: Blueberry PR There are three categories children can enter: early years, key stage one and key stage two and the winner from each will receive a £20 shopping voucher. The overall winner will also get a VIP tour of Catsfield Christmas Tree Farm www.catsfieldchristmastreefarm.com and the opportunity to help cut down their special tree. Clive Collins, who runs the operation with business partner Phil Reynolds, said: “This year we are branching out and selling lights and decorations so we thought local children could give us some inspiration. “We are very excited about this year’s competition. The toppers don’t have to be fairies or stars and they can be made out of absolutely anything – we’d like to think Sussex children could set new trends.” To be in with a chance, the tree toppers must be delivered or posted to Catsfield Christmas Tree Farm by 1 December. Winners will be announced on Friday 3 December. Catsfield Christmas Tree Farm www.catsfieldchristmastreefarm.com is a long-established grower and retailer based in Catsfield, East Sussex. It has been a member of the British Christmas Tree Growers Association since 1994 and has been growing and supplying Christmas trees for over 20 years. Trees from Catsfield Christmas Tree Farm are cut as late as possible to keep them fresh. The business also uses sustainable, environmentally friendly methods to farm its trees. ENDS End
