Nov. 1, 2010 - PRLog -- Los Angeles Real Estate Attorney, Matthew Abbasi, Esq., and Studio City Real Estate Broker, Gina Michelle Sichi, have teamed up to provide a series of free workshops to assist local homeowners with home loan modifications and other alternatives to foreclosure.  The workshops are completely FREE and were designed by two qualified and experienced local professionals.
These workshops provide homeowners with important information regarding alternatives to foreclosures and provide real world advice to obtain solutions. Please visit Freemodhelp.com to obtain more information about this free program.  The first workshop is set for December 11, 2010 in Studio City and will be followed by additional dates next year.
Matthew Abbasi, Esq. has worked on hundreds of modifications personally and is all too familiar with the difficulties homeowners are facing when attempting to obtain a workout with their lender. “I have dealt with every major lender in the county and have personally experienced the tremendous agitation and red tape associated with loan modifications.  Homeowners need to be informed of the programs available, the eligibility requirements and their legal rights to help them achieve a successful solution to their specific case.” Mr. Abbasi has been a practicing attorney since 2001 and is currently the managing partner of ANH Legal Group.  Mr. Abbasi is a panel attorney with the San Fernando Valley Legal Referral Panel for Real Estate, Business Litigation and Bankruptcy. Please visit Mr. Abbasi’s website at www.anhlegal.com to obtain more information about Mr. Abbasi and his firm. Mr. Abbasi is volunteering his time and expertise to provide free legal advice to the participants in these workshops.
Gina Michelle expresses sympathy for the struggling homeowner.  “Too many homeowners who have fallen victim to foreclosure simply because they were ill informed of their options.  These homeowners could have avoided foreclosure all together and received assistance by way of loan workout, additional time in their property, substantial relocation monies and/or be granted waiver of deficiency judgments and tax consequences that stem from foreclosure.  Our workshop is going to help Los Angeles homeowners make an educated decision on how to best avoid foreclosure and maximize the benefits available to them.” Gina Michelle is a practicing Broker who runs a local Real Estate Firm in Studio City, Infinity Real Estate Group.  She specializes in distressed properties and is HAFA Certified.  The newly released HAFA Program, (Home Affordable Foreclosure Alternatives), is a government based program designed to help homeowners avoid foreclosure.  For more information about Gina Michelle, you can visit www.Gina-Michelle.com.
Homeowners are urged to bring their financial documents and questions.  The workshop will cover programs, guidelines, legal remedies, and includes a specific one on one analysis of each homeowner’s financials with a loan workout counselor.  Homeowners will leave with a tangible plan of action best suited for them.  This workshop is free for all to attend.   Homeowners must be residents of Los Angeles County  and must pre register to obtain a confirmation code as seating is limited.
