Kitchen Play Partners with Lindsay Olives in Dynamic Culinary Series

The November Kitchen Play Progressive Party is being sponsored by Lindsay Olives, and participants selected from a wide variety of Lindsay Olives products to create each original dish.

Nov. 1, 2010 - PRLog -- Kitchen Play and Lindsay Olives have teamed up on a culinary event like no other: the Kitchen Play Progressive Party. In this monthly event, six food bloggers are challenged to incorporate the same ingredient into six wildly different courses, ranging from cocktail to dessert. The November Progressive Party is being sponsored by Lindsay Olives, and participants selected from a wide variety of Lindsay Olives products to create each original dish.

“Lindsay Olives is a natural fit as a Progressive Party sponsor,” says Casey Benedict, founder of Kitchen Play. “The company’s extensive selection of olives ensured that each food blogger would find a product that would inspire a mouth-watering recipe. In turn, the collection of recipes created for this event reflects the versatility of the Lindsay Olives product line.”

Most notably, one food blogger highlighted Pitted Kalamata Olives in a yeast bread which ultimately became a dessert French Toast. The blogger assigned the cocktail course, took inspiration from two traditional drinks—the Margarita and the Bloody Mary—to create a signature drink, The Bloody Olivia, using Spicy Jalapeno Olives. And one participant put a delicious twist on an old favorite by adding Black and Green Ripe Pitted Olives to phyllo-wrapped Brie.

“We’re delighted to partner with Kitchen Play on this innovative, fun and delicious initiative,” says Jen Fuchs, associate consumer marketing manager, Lindsay Olives. “We highly value the close interaction we have with olive lovers through social media programs like these and are thrilled to have creative new recipes that showcase our olives at their very best.”

As part of the event, Lindsay Olives is also hosting a giveaway on Kitchen Play where additional food bloggers can try the Progressive Party recipes for a chance to win one of six $100 prizes.
