Nov. 1, 2010 - PRLog -- Allstate agency owner Michele Martin was recently named an Agent Hero by Allstate Insurance Company’s New York Region, and awarded a $500 grant for a local youth program. Martin donated the grant to St. Joseph’s CYO of Ronkonkoma, run by community leader Henry Melchione. The grant will support the organization’s softball, baseball, track, soccer and basketball programs.

“As an Allstate agent, I believe it is my responsibility to demonstrate the Good Hands Promise in the Long Island community every single day,” said Martin, whose office is located at Fort Salonga Road in Northport. “The St. Joseph’s CYO program has touched many students from the Connetquot and Sachem Districts and other surrounding parishes and districts, and it is an honor to be able to donate this grant to help our youth grow mentally and physically through sports.”
