Taoiseach Brian Cowen Welcomes Cased Dimensions

Nov. 1, 2010 - PRLog -- Cased Dimensions a new and upcoming software development company based in Monaghan was this week welcomed by Taoiseach Brian Cowen. The Taoiseach made this special visit to thank Cased Dimensions for driving growth in the Irish Economy.

Cased Dimensions are a leading software development company and more prestigiously the only Microsoft Alliance Partner in Ireland. It is an honour to be invited by Microsoft to work alongside their development team to improve and enhance Microsoft technologies.

Cased Dimensions have recently released their first of many Software Packs for Microsoft. The “SLA Management” software pack works inside System Center Service Manager. Among many benefits the pack enables you to automate and monitor your service desk more effectively by providing the ability to set objectives, enable proactive time to fix, time to respond and time to escalate SLA’s.

Cased Dimensions are actively looking to recruit new employees in Ireland with System Center experience. They are currently in the process of developing a training program with FAS to develop these new skills within the Irish market. Liam Murray, Managing Director of Cased Dimensions states that “we are growing at a fast pace and we now need FAS to help us meet our recruitment needs. Our objective is to develop a large Irish based team, System Center is a new technology and there is a lack of these specific skills so we are hoping that FAS will help us overcome that hurdle and keep the jobs in Ireland”.

The Taoiseach expressed great concern over the situation and voiced his surprise at FAS not acting more proactively on the situation, he urged Cased Dimensions to keep the jobs in Ireland to which Murray responded “nothing would give us greater pleasure than to keep the jobs in Ireland but FAS have been sitting on this for over six months and it is affecting our business. We have turned down business for lack of skilled professionals and there is only so long we will wait before we will have to permanently outsource the jobs to the UK and other European countries.”

Cased Dimensions are delighted to be located in Monaghan and have received great support from the local County Enterprise Board. They hope to continue their business in Ireland and contribute greatly to the Irish economy. Their relationship with Microsoft and the on-going support that comes with that relationship guarantees their success, it is now in the hands of FAS to determine whether that success is celebrated in Ireland or outsourced to the UK.
