Nov. 1, 2010 - PRLog -- With two more contestants to be evicted before the Final Four Showdown of TV3 Ghana's Most Beautiful, Hi Newspaper was allowed into the GMB mansion to meet up with the six finalists immediately after last Sunday's live show.

We find out about the challenges they face in the house as they prepare to fight for a spot in the perfect four of the most patronized beauty reality TV show in Ghana.

NAA (GREATER ACCRA) With even better looks in person than on camera, Naa acknowledges having learned more about herself and Ghanaian culture in her 7 weeks stay in the GMB mansion than she has in her entire life.

Her biggest challenge has been “doing all I can, not to engage in major grudge with any of my colleagues so not to sell a different perception about me to the public. I therefore try to keep my cool and never step on the toes of others.” she says. Her last performance was above average when she presented the festival of the people of Winneba.

CHAANA (UPPER WEST REGION) Apart from week one, she's been impressive; becoming the judges' ultimate choice on week two. She's been up for eviction on a couple of occasions, but the very confident looking rep of the Upper West region strangely acknowledges her difficulty in satisfying the live audience. “I'm trying my best and I know for sure that I won't be one of the two to go home before the final showdown”, she says. Her performance last week was above average as she quite effectively educated the audience on the importance of beads in the Ghanaian culture.

AMA (EASTERN REGION) Ama, one of the two served for eviction last week, has been consistent in her performances each week. She couldn't name a particular challenge per say. “I psyched myself before entering the show to delete the word 'challenge' from my dictionary, at least during my 13-week stay in the house. And that's paying off”, she quips. Ama's last performance was on yam shortage in the Upper West due to the ethnic conflict in the region. She called on the royal family to choose one king to represent the people to avoid unnecessary conflicts.

ASIBI (UPPER EAST) The most energetic performer among the six, Asibi, said “what others would call a challenge, I prefer to call it a testimony because throughout my life, I have told myself that people would always hate something about you, no matter how hard you tried to impress them.” She therefore does not let any negative issues either in the house or on the show put her down.

However, one issue she narrated to us (but warned us not to print) almost cost her an eviction. Last week, she performed a woman from the Volta region selling fish, who was being discriminate on by others. She almost suffered eviction last week due to that low-key performance, but was saved by the bell as the week was declared eviction-free. “I see GMB as a major task I need to clear in life and I'm taking it with all the seriousness it deserves”.

EMEFA (VOLTA REGION) The seemingly calmest among the remaining contestants, Emefa told Hi Newspaper that her biggest challenge until now has been trying to find out really who her friend was in the house. “You see people smile around your and try to read the real motives behind the smiles. It got better as the numbers decrease week after week. “Now I have grown stronger and look forward to being among the top 4”.

In her last Sunday's great performance, she illustrated the hardships girls from the countryside go through when they come to the urban areas, especially Accra.

BAMBIE (CENTRAL REGION) The most confident among the contestants, Bambie continues her winning ways exhibiting great acting skills week after week. Last week, acting as a Kenkey seller, she advised her customers on inter-tribal marriages.

“My love for acting has made it easier for me to cope with any other characters. Not to say that everything I do in the house is acting. At first, I considered myself an introvert in the house just to learn more about the others. I can now relate to my colleagues like my sisters because I have been able to study their behaviors so well.”
