Presented by The Boston Conservatory at Seully Hall

Take a sometimes haunting, sometimes amusing, musical journey through America's past with A Celebration of American Music, featuring a performance on voice, guitar, mandolin and banjo, as well as a varied palette of styles, carving a broad path through the American past from 18th-century ballads to 20th-century blues.

Jim and Maggi's programs interweave historical information and narration in every performance.

Audience participation is encouraged; all programs are designed to place the music performed in historical context -- fostering an experiential "Understanding of History Thru Music."

Jim and Maggi Dalton specialize in 19th- & early 20th-Century Music, History, and Culture From Parlor and Stage

Programs feature period & period-appropriate instruments, and historically-informed performance
