The Wonder Women Network is a new web-based network for the women of SE London. The aim of the website is to raise the profile of local business wonder-women, to offer inspiration and to let local women know what’s happening on their doorstep.

Oct. 28, 2010 - PRLog -- The Wonder Women Network is a brand new web-based network for local women. Its flagship site has just launched, focusing on the women of South East London, however its founder Natalie Strong, already has plans to roll the business out, across London and then the country.

The aim of the website is to raise the profile of local business ‘wonder-women’, to offer inspiration and to let local women know what’s happening on their doorstep.  Another unique feature of the network is its Wonder Card: a discount card available to subscribers of The Wonder Women Network’s e-newsletter which offers unique discounts from local businesses. The WWN also provides a platform for school fundraising groups (Friends or PTAs) from which to communicate with parents and the wider community and let local businesses know how they can help fundraise, whilst promoting their businesses.

In addition to writing blogs and profiles about local businesses, events and activities, Natalie also offers a Social Media Marketing Package, where she will regularly promote your business via The WWN’s Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn pages as well as by additional blog posts.  If you sign up for The Press Release Package, Natalie will write you a press release and then post it strategically across the web, to maximise coverage.  In the future, Natalie, a former Television Director plans to offer businesses promotional videos.

So what was the inspiration behind the website?  Natalie explains “Since my daughter started school two years ago, I’ve felt a real sense of being part of a community. This encouraged me to get involved with the school’s PTA and through this I have met many incredible mums: not only are they looking after their children and running their home (not to mention 10k charity races), they are successfully managing a business.  Around the same time, I started going to a fitness class with my little boy - Running Mummies – where again; I meet countless wonderful ‘mumpreneurs’.  Not a week goes by when I don’t meet a local woman who’s running or planning to set up their own business”

Through her media work, and her time as an Office Manager, Natalie has amassed solid writing, research and marketing skills and experience and is never happier than when she is in the depths of organisation. Her former manager, Hosh Nekoo from TalkbackTHAMES adds “Natalie is one of the most personable people it is possible to work with.  Extremely hardworking, resourceful and determined, she gets results every time, always having the total respect of everyone she meets”.

Social media marketing is an essential part of any modern business but keeping up with it when  there’s so much else on your plate can be an impossible task - you also have to know what you are doing and have a certain level of technical ability, not to mention the inclination. So if you are a business wonder women in South East London, why not let The Wonder Women Network do it all for you?
