UK Freight Forwarder expands into Austrian Freight Market

Oct. 28, 2010 - PRLog -- International Forwarding has announced from 1st November a merger of the UK operations of the Austrian haulier Road International, based in Rankweil, with its existing comprehensive range of European road services.  The UK manager for Road International, Andrew Powell, will be joining the International Forwarding team.

Road International has daily truck capacity in the UK/Austria/UK market for full, part loads and groupage and its vehicles also serve Germany and eastern Switzerland.  Nigel Parsons, International Forwarding sales director, commented that “this development ideally complements the existing service schedules offered by the company to its export and import clientele.”

International Forwarding offers frequent and cost effective services to /from Austria, the Benelux, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Spain and Switzerland.  UK distribution is effected throughout the Midlands by its own fleet of trucks and the company is a member of the Palletways overnight distribution network.
