ARISE Displays its Evidence-Based, Life Skills Program for At-Risk Youth in Pennsylvania

PRLog (Press Release) - Oct. 28, 2010 - Representatives from Harborcreek Youth Services, a local Erie PA organization, will be on hand to answer questions. HYS hopes to implement the ARISE Life Skills Program with organizations working with troubled and at risk youth, throughout Pennsylvania and surrounding states. ARISE has contracted with HYS in order to accomplish this and will be working closely with HYS to ensure the fidelity of the ARISE Life Skills Program.
   
ARISE recently conducted a 5-Day ARISE Master Life Skills Training for HYS staff and affiliates. In this five-day intensive training, 10 participants were certified as ARISE Master Trainers. They are now certified to conduct the two-day (14-hour) ARISE Life Skills Instructor training.

Since ARISE was established almost three decades ago, it has trained and certified over 5,000 group facilitators (instructors) who have taught more than 4,000,000 documented hours of ARISE life-skills lessons in Florida alone.
