What You Need to Know About Senior Housing

An updated version of the BASICS brochure has been released by the Society of Certified Senior Advisors. BASICS discusses some of the most-often asked questions about Senior Housing.

PRLog - Oct. 26, 2010 - The Society of Certified Senior Advisors has released an updated version of the BASICS brochure. BASICS answers some of the most often-asked questions about Social Security, Medicare, Medicare Supplements, Medicaid, senior housing, in-home care and long-term care insurance. This informative and easy-to-read, 38-page booklet was inspired by our Certified Senior Advisors (CSAs), who have taken the time to learn about the complexity of aging and how to help seniors find the tools to navigate that journey.

Excerpt from BASICS:

“It’s important to find the right senior housing option as this allows a senior to have the appropriate level of support and care. Factors such as the senior’s health and financial situation are critical to this decision since there are many different levels of care, each with different service and payment options.” The BASICS guide will answer all your latest questions on Senior Housing, including:
1.  What are the different types of senior housing?
2.  What does ‘Medicare certified facility’ mean?
3.  How do I locate a senior housing facility?
4.  and much more

This guide is available electronically or in printed format for Certified Senior Advisors only. CSAs can use this to pass along to their senior clients. This critical information will not only help them to age well but will genuinely make a difference in their lives.  To view a sample of this full color brochure, please visit http://www.csa.us/store
