Aunt Gussie's Celebrates 30 years baking great tasting cookies!

Oct. 26, 2010 - PRLog -- What began 30 years ago as a vision for a unique, one-of-a-kind business, executed with passion, ingenuity and tenacity, is Aunt Gussie's Cookies & Crackers today.

In the last 30 years, founder Marilyn Caine, has been able to create products that are ahead of the trends. Based on Aunt Gussie's collection of artisan recipes and keeping
in mind the homemade feeling, she was able to create delicious snacks faithful to her dream. A family member with diabetes, led her to develop 2 lines of Sugar Free cookies: cookies made with traditional unbleached wheat flour, and an alternative line made with ancient Spelt, which may be better tolerated by wheat-sensitive cookie lovers.

Recognizing the lack of healthier options for those following alternative diets, Aunt Gussie's also introduced a line of Gluten Free cookies baked in a separate and dedicated Gluten Free facility to avoid cross contamination from other wheat allergens. In addition to the cookies in sugar and sugar-free
varieties, Aunt Gussie's Gluten Free kitchen now offers breads and english muffins made with whole grains, brownies and other delicious snacks.

Today, Aunt Gussie's products are baked in state of the art dedicated facilities (Dairy, Parve and Gluten Free) created by her son David Caine, who manages the day to day operation of the company to assure the homemade integrity of their products.

To celebrate its 30 years baking great tasting cookies, Aunt Gussie's introduces a new label designed to state its commitment to bake with only all-natural, simple ingredients, never compromising quality or taste, while keeping alive the homemade tradition of its artisan recipes.

The new label will easily identify Aunt Gussie's traditional flavors well known by appreciative consumers looking for an all-natural product both delicious and healthy.
