Forced PCI Compliance nets Snoozer Pet Products 33% more business in credit card payments

Oct. 26, 2010 - PRLog -- Greenville, SC based pet products manufacturer, Snoozer Pet Products, established that they are billing 33% more business through credit cards payments, after having brought their financial systems in compliance with PCI requirements.  PCI DSS is a security standard that includes twelve requirements for security management, policies, procedures, network architecture, software design and other critical protective measures, intended to help organizations proactively protect customer account data.

When Snoozer Pet Products learned about the upcoming July 1, 2010 deadline to become compliant or face fines, costly forensic audits or brand damage, if a data breach occurred, they knew they had to take action. “When we heard about the PCI DSS standard requirements and the approaching deadline, examining our credit card handling processes became essential.
