DeAngelis Studio at Hard Rock Cafe, Boston MA: The boys of Black Diamonds are still smiling! They went to The Hard Rock Cafe last night just to have fun, enjoy the experience, play, and make new friends and wow, they ended up taking it all!
Sitting at sound check was daunting - Henry, Nick, AJ and Wolfgang were awed by all the great talent, maybe even a little intimidated. But, as soon as they had the chance, they ran around the Hard Rock, enjoying all the great displays, instruments and videos. Guitar player, Henry, couldn't stop looking at his hero, Pete Townsend's guitar. Drummer, Nick, and Bass player, Wolfgang ,were awed by some of the screen displays, while Singer AJ, as always, was making new friends.
They were having so much fun that they missed the group photo of all the acts of the evening!
But, when it was their turn to take the stage, the show was on, and this group of young music pros showed their stuff - and, the crowd loved it!
Then the time came, one by one awards were given out and the stage was getting crowded with performers - Wolfgang said he thought they were going to be left out but as soon as he heard the word "Black" he jumped up, just behind AJ, who beat everyone to the punch! The crowd roared, it was such an amazing experience for the boys! They posed for their picture, excepted lots of thanks and praise and you couldn't wipe the smiles off their faces! Not to mention their family and friends who all came just expecting a show - not a first place win!
Black Diamonds will go right back to work, finishing up some original songs and planning for their next music video.
