Sunny Bridge Natural Foods Hosts Nationally Known Garlic Guru Charlie Fox

Oct. 22, 2010 - PRLog -- Charlie Fox- The Garlic Guru, will discuss the health benefits of garlic.  The event will be hosted by Sunny Bridge Natural Foods and held at Family First Chiropractic at 3150 Washington Rd. in McMurray, PA on November 9 at 1:00 PM.

To many people garlic is just something we use to enhance the flavor of our food.  But to Charlie Fox it is the difference between life and death.  More than 33 years ago, while Charlie was working in his father’s floor wax business, breathing toxic fumes daily—particularly carbon tetrachloride, a toxic carcinogen—he became deathly ill.

Doctors found that three-fourths of his liver was damaged, and said that his chances for survival were marginal.  Charlie didn’t like the odds, so he made some drastic life changes.  A raw food diet, daily exercise, pure water and an abundance of garlic, rejuvenated his liver and changed his life.  Today he is noted for super-energy and stamina.  He attributes this mainly to garlic.

Charlie Fox then went on a 24-year crusade studying the benefits of garlic and was given the name The Garlic Guru.  Charlie's research has culminated in a book he co-authored, called The Garlic Cure.  Charlie Fox’s presentation will be an informal talk on the health benefits of garlic for heart disease, cholesterol, and candida.
