Nickel Putter USA Releases New Innovative Golf Putters

Oct. 22, 2010 - PRLog -- The company now offers a complete line of high performance putter styles: mallet, ½ mallet, and blade. Developed in Germany by famed designer and engineer Werner Nickel, all face-balanced Nickel Putter clubs turn in top tier performance with focus on high swing stability (high MOI designs). Their mallet and ½ mallet clubs were tested for performance by the independent testing lab GolfTest USA and both received the coveted 5 star rating (highest). The company’s blade putters will be tested in 2010.

The German engineered design behind all of Werner Nickel’s putters places focus solely on performance, therefore no short-cuts are taken in the manufacturing process. All designs start with a precision CNC milled lightweight aluminum body. Next, additional materials used as lateral counterweights with varying densities are also CNC milled and then pressed into the club’s aluminum body to form one seamless unit. No adhesives or bolts are used, thus eliminating vibration and other deficiencies of design. Lastly, a specially developed polymer is poured into the resulting club face, dried, and then finished off with a 3° loft angle. This polymer insert increases control and feedback at the moment of impact.

This manufacturing process is quite expensive but necessary to produce some of the world’s highest performing putters…and the company realizes how lofty that sounds.

Nickel Putter’s patented adjustable length shafts (adjustable grips) allow adjustments to any incremental length between 32”-37”, as well as rotational adjustments for golfers who consistently miss in one direction. The adjustable grips are easily interchangeable and are offered in seven different colors.
