Oct. 22, 2010 - PRLog -- October 22, 2010, Belfast, Maine - Bay City Cargo, located in Belfast Maine, has been going to work over the last nine months collecting unused vintage marquee letters. The company has been buying the big old letters from closed down theaters, casinos, businesses, etc. to keep them out of landfills. “Why let these beautiful letters go to waste and add to the billions of tons of trash, when they can still be enjoyed.” said Rick Young of Bay City Cargo.
These wonderful retro letters are now being used as signs for businesses, home decor, art, and theaters being restored to their original appearances. Thousands of vintage sign letters from Bay City Cargo have found new life all over the world to date. These marquee letters are a great way to add character to a room, and a little bit of yesteryear.
