PRLog (Press Release) - Oct. 22, 2010 - “The economy in Nevada, especially the Vegas Valley, has not gone unnoticed by President An of Kia Motor Corp,” Jim Mooradian, General Manager of Henderson, Nevada-based Courtesy Kia explained, “during his recent visit to Las Vegas for the annual new vehicle introduction and national dealer meeting, Mr. An expressed a desire to help our citizens with their transportation needs by personally authorizing an additional $500.00 rebate for Nevada residents purchasing a new 2010 or 2011 Kia car, suv or van.”  

An example offered by the local Kia dealer group demonstrates the new rebate combined with existing retail incentives drops the selling price of a brand new 2010 Kia Forte sedan to $13995.00, compared with a Toyota Corolla, Honda Civic or Nissan Sentra costing several thousand dollars more.

“Allowing a local dealer to be creative with incentive rebates that meet the needs our community is very progressive for auto manufacturers,” Mooradian continued, “as a result of this extra $500 we have been able to help clients get a new car with a 10 year 100,000 mile warranty, lower their payment or trade-out of an existing vehicle at favorable terms, where they thought a used car was their only option.”

Mooradian added that increased car sales generates additional sales tax for the state where used cars purchased for less money or from non-dealers produce no tax revenue.

The rebate is available on all new 2010 and 2011 Kia models purchased through October and November, as in-stock models are available. Auto loan financing available on approved credit terms.
