Now the Thames Valley Baha’i Community members are opening up their hearts with 'Time to Unwind' sessions for people to learn more about Baha’ism.
By: West Berkshire Baha’i Community The community is opening up its heart to anyone who wants to either just learn a little about ‘what is Baha’i religion’ or become more involved in the group. The ‘Time to Unwind’ sessions are held on Wednesday evenings in Newbury. West Berkshire Baha’i Shawn Khorassani said: “We explore a whole range of subjects that are important to Baha’is and look at everything that makes Baha’ism what it is today. Inspiration, rejuvenation, motivation, purpose and meaning are all essential ingredients to the modern world and help people sense that their lives are on track and worth living. “The Baha’i writings teach us that the Word of God provides inspiration, rejuvenates souls, gladdens hearts and renews one’s sense of purpose. The ‘Time to Unwind’ gatherings we host in our homes are intended to create an environment of unity and harmony.” The first couple of 'Time to Unwind' sessions are: • Wednesday 27 October, 8pm to 10pm, Newbury. Subject Soul • Wednesday 3 November, 8pm to 10pm, Newbury.
