Oct. 22, 2010 - PRLog -- American as a whole is seeking government debt relief programs in 2010 and will be seeking them for some time. What many are calling "Obama's government debt relief program", a consumer term, is now allowing consumers to ethically and legally reduce their charge card debt.
Fact: Nearly 100% of bankruptcies that are filed within the US have been caused my charge cards. American's have been sold a bill of good from our creditors and it is making American go bankrupt each year.
Fact: The average debt a family has will now take them the rest of their lives unless they get a way to reduce their debts. This is why many Americans seek grant money for American citizens in debt, but there is a catch, the government does not give grant money for the specific purpose of paying off past due debt.
What has also been called the "government bailout for credit card debt" has also allowed many Americans to drastically reduce their debts that they can no longer pay. The government is not doing this but private companies that have literally helped US citizens wipe away $1,000,000's in debt and more, which includes you and me.
Many have gone to grant.gov and have sought out other grant programs but by the time they try to get a grant, many of the legitimate programs could have knocked off hefty percentage of what they owe.
The government debt relief program was set up for major companies that are now allowing the average consumer the ability to get rid of a portion of their debt as long as they owe $10,000 or more.
With the rights that we have as American consumers, there is truly no reason to stay in debt. After all, who wants to spend the next 30 years paying of charges that only took a year or so to accumulate? The creditors got a break and so should Americans citizens in debt.
