Oct. 22, 2010 - PRLog -- ALAN Bentley – managing director of international assignment specialists IPM Ltd – was on the move himself earlier this month.  He walked from England’s west coast to east coast to raise money for charity.

Alan, who runs  IPM Ltd, from offices in Peterborough, is trekked the 192 miles from St Bees Head in Cumbria to Robin Hood’s Bay in North Yorkshire.

He raised around £3,600 for the Psoriasis Association – which provides support for people suffering from the debilitating skin complaint. Both Alan’s children have suffered with the problem for many years.

“We walked from the Lake District through the Yorkshire Dales and up onto the North Yorkshire Moors before arriving at Robin Hood’s Bay,” said Alan.  It took him 12 days to complete the distance.

“I like walking but had never done anything like that before .  It was really testing but hugely rewarding,” he added.
