Carbon emissions reductions to be achieved with Next Generation Insulation

Meeting our carbon budgets are equivalent to a 34% cut in greenhouse gas emissions by 2020.
The domestic sector will need to reduce carbon emissions by 29% by 2020.

The UK needs to radically increase the scale of energy efficiency measures if we are to achieve these targets.
How do we make it easier for individuals and businesses to save energy, reduce emissions and cut fuel bills?

Houses and business alike are full of thermal inefficiency, this means that our homes and business are leaking heat and energy, so much so that we may as well be burning stacks of £50 notes. One of the areas that we as a country will need to focus on in order to achieve these targets and start saving those £50 notes from the burning stack is with External Solid Wall Insulation. Thousands of homes and business in the UK have solid brick walls. These solid brick walls do not do enough to prevent the loss of heat from within our homes and work places, this as a result pushes heating costs up, pushes carbon emissions up, which ultimately results in the burning stack of £50 notes and this is taking its toll on the environment.

External Wall Insulation significantly reduces the thermal inefficiencies that exist within solid brick walls by improving heat gain, preventing the loss of warmth from within, and preventing the entry of cold air from outside.
