Esme and the Beast! And taming the Halloween flames at Peak Village

Oct. 20, 2010 - PRLog -- Peak Village is getting in on the Halloween act this year and hosting more FREE events to entertain and thrill shoppers of all ages. A spectacular fire show, free Halloween face painting and a visit from Esme and the Beaste throughout the the half term break mean that visitors can bring along their children and grandchildren and enjoy some very welcome free attractions, as well as some seasonal retail therapy.

On Wednesday 27 October prepare to be amazed with a unique and captivating Fantasy Fire Show. The 30 minute spectacle will take place at 11.00am, 1.00pm and 3.00pm in the exhibition space in front of the Old Station Building. The performer will display his unique skills of taming of the flame with fire juggling, including the gravity-defying handling of fire Diabolos and Devil sticks.

The fun continues on Sunday October 31 - the official date of Halloween - when the centre gets a visit from the double act Esme and the Beaste. The Beaste has waggling tail, a moving  mouth and blinking eyes and children absolutely adore him and unlike some other Halloween characters The Beaste is a gentle giant rather than frightening, so visitors can rest assured that their little ones won’t leave the centre in tears or having nightmares. There will be four 45 minute shows at 11.00am, 12.30pm, 2.00pm and 3.15pm. To add to the Halloween activities, free face painting is also available from 11.00am-4.00pm, so children can come along to Peak Village in their Halloween costumes and complete the look!
