Here Come The Hotsteppers : Malaika Arora Walks The Ramp for Major Brands

Oct. 20, 2010 - PRLog -- Iconic new looks can truly be created by iconic brands alone.
On Saturday, October 16th, 2010, at the newly opened G7 Mall in Versova, Major Brands, a group that has a vast array of international brands – Mango, Aldo, Promod, Nine West, La Senza, Charles & Keith, Aldo Accessories, Inglot make-up, organized a fashion show to present the iconic looks of the Autumn-Winter season.
Celebrities streamed in steadily. Suchitra Pillai, Shaheen Abbas, Nishka Lulla, Parvathy Omanakuttan, Aditi and Arzoo Govitrikar, Arzoo and Aditi Govitrikar, Suchitra Krishnamoorthy and Karisma Tanna (who came in with a friend) occupied the front row as Israeli Consul General Orna Sagiv also sat through the proceedings.
The show opened to claps and whistles, with Candice Pinto,Dipti Gujral, Sucheta Sharma,Sandhya Shetty, Iris Maity all setting the ramp on fire. The looks were created in paired sequences; Mango with Aldo, Promod with Charles & Keith and the very hot La Senza with Nine West. Inglot, the Polish cosmetic brand, announced its first store in Mumbai and showcased the avant-garde look created by its make-up artists. Each girl on the ramp looked ready to embrace fashion, colour and life itself with poise and confidence. The very badnaam Munni, Malaikaa Arora Khan came in to a thunderous applause in a black Mango dress, with a Golden mango shrug, Aldo shoes and accessories. As Suchitra Pillai cheered loudly for her, Malaikaa gracefully waved out to the gang of girls sitting in the front row; before she returned to head ramp for an encore. Girls were surely having fashion fun tonight!

We are delighted with the way our brands have caught on with the well-heeled, well-travelled fashionistas of India and we are presenting our season’s new “must-have” looks today.”
As the evening presented looks from naughty to nice, demure to come-hither, it was delectable fashion at its  best!
