Oakville Hydro Executives Divulge the Success behind their Company to Business Review Canada

Oct. 19, 2010 - PRLog -- (San Diego, CA). In an interview with Business Review Canada, Rob Lister, President and CEO, Mike Brown, VP of Engineering and Operations and COO, Scott Mudie, VP of Renewable Generation and Energy Services for Oakville Hydro divulge the dichotomy that constitutes their company’s success.

On the generation side the Company is working on a very large project that would see district energy brought to Oakville. This is known as the Integrated Energy System project (IES). The IES would have the most up to date technologies for combined heat and power and district heating and cooling. The Company would be supplying over 250 acres of potential development lands with district heating and cooling, and would be generating electricity and selling that to the provincial grid, while at the same time providing the new Oakville hospital with district heating and cooling.

Under the energy services side, Oakville Hydro sells Green Power Certificates to its clients and anybody who would like to buy the certificates. They are Eco Local Certified, and are intended for those who would like to green their homes and businesses by purchasing green power, and in turn the Company sources those credits through the provincial market.
