Michael Riddle Named MediPurpose® Director of Wound Care

Oct. 19, 2010 - PRLog -- RALEIGH, N.C. and NORCROSS, Ga. – MediPurpose®, a master distributor and manufacturer of medical products, today announced Michael Riddle as Director of Wound Care.

The latest addition to the company’s recently launched Wound Care Distribution division, the position was created to oversee the introduction of a comprehensive line of high-quality yet competitively priced advanced wound care products.

In addition to developing the strategy and tactics required to successfully launch the existing medical product portfolio—which currently includes Pharmaplast OEM advanced wound care products—the position will be responsible for identifying, evaluating and sourcing synergistic technologies. Riddle’s ultimate objective will be to establish MediPurpose as an innovative market leader in the advanced wound care space, a challenge that Riddle is eager to tackle.

Riddle brings to MediPurpose more than 25 years of experience and achievement in the development of cutting-edge technologies and global business initiatives for medical product companies. More recently, he was president and CEO of Sicel Technologies, Inc. and continues to be consulting president and CEO and ZumaTek.

Riddle’s diverse expertise—which includes planning and execution of pre-clinical and clinical studies and full product development life cycles, development of clinical education programs, marketing, reimbursement, training of sales force, and quality and regulatory matters—matched MediPurpose’s requirement for a professional that understands the ambitions of its newest division.

Launched last June, the new Wound Care Distribution division spotlights MediPurpose’s attention on new business development to expand product lines that compliment their award-winning medical product distribution services and logistics capabilities.
