Stockton Graham & Co. holding Coffee College for Coffee Professionals

Oct. 19, 2010 - PRLog -- October 19, 2010 – Raleigh, NC - Stockton Graham & Co. ® will be holding Coffee College “Coffee & Espresso Basics” on Friday, October 22 from 9am - 5pm.  This full-day seminar is designed to provide coffee professionals with a broad range of theory and practical experience on which to build a strong specialty coffee education.
Attendees of Coffee College will learn a short history of coffee production and espresso; learn to appreciate and evaluate coffee taste; taste varietal and roast characteristics; learn basic terms of specialty drinks and equipment including cold and frozen drink preparation methods;  and practice the basics of pulling an espresso shot, steaming and frothing milk, and drink preparation.
“Specialty coffee is oriented around quality,” said Jeff Vojta, President of Stockton Graham & Co. “The goal of our Coffee College program is to give coffee professionals a strong base of knowledge to build on throughout their career.  Creating quality drinks and explaining their merits takes a lot of knowledge and practice.”
