Oct. 19, 2010 - PRLog -- With 10,000 cars and trucks passing each day, downtown merchants in Richland, GA, were anxious to steer some of those drivers off the highway and into downtown.

But the cost for a highway billboard was too great for a single merchant. Instead, Richland Better Hometown is helping the downtown's businesses do collectively what they can't do on their own.

The answer is a simple but effective series of billboards. Each billboard has space for nine local businesses to promote themselves. And for as little as $50 the first year and $10 for each successive year, the billboards have been a hit with merchants and drivers.
