2011 Nissan Leaf Released to Florida Customers in April

Oct. 18, 2010 - PRLog -- Pensacola, Florida, October 18, 2010—Nissan North America will release the 2011 Nissan Leaf for sale to Florida customers in April of next year.  The Leaf is the first mass-produced, all-electric vehicle produced in the U.S.  Charged by a standard 220-volt home outlet, the car has a range of 100 miles with speeds up to 90 mph.  Based on the national average for electrical rates, the Leaf should cost only three dollars to charge.  

The zero-emission car qualifies for the $7500 federal tax credit and possible state incentives, bringing its post federal incentive price to about $25,000.
