The Inverness Hotel Appoints Brian Fedorowicz to Regional Director of Sales & Marketing

Fedorowicz returns to The Inverness Hotel and brings new practices to re-energize hotel sales and marketing efforts

Oct. 18, 2010 - PRLog -- George Fischer, managing director at The Inverness Hotel and Conference Center, announced that Brian Fedorowicz, former hotel sales director, has re-joined as the new Regional Director of Sales and Marketing. In this newly created position, Fedorowicz will oversee sales and marketing efforts, focusing on designing and directing diverse programs to target the hotel’s leisure and business travelers. In 2011, his responsibilities will grow beyond The Inverness Hotel to include regional sales and marketing management of other Destination Hotels & Resorts (DH&R) properties. By sharing key executives across multiple properties, DH&R has been able to streamline efforts, share resources and integrate efforts to achieve maximum benefit for properties in a specific region.

Since leaving The Inverness Hotel in 2007, Fedorowicz has held key positions at Visit Denver and the Inn and Spa at Loretto that have helped him gain new market insights and practices he hopes to implement at The Inverness Hotel. As Director of Sales and Marketing at the Inn and Spa at Loretto in Santa Fe, NM, Fedorowicz helped DH&R build new sales and marketing programs to support the property, including repositioning the hotel locally; introducing a new restaurant concept; developing a guest loyalty program and introducing DH&R’s culture to the Santa Fe community. He left the Inn and Spa at Loretto in 2009 and returned to his home state to join Visit Denver as Assistant Vice President of Convention Sales. In this capacity, he was responsible for using his sales and acquisition skill set to help position and sell Denver as a premiere destination for conference and convention meeting sales.

With more than 20 years of sales and marketing experience in hospitality, Fedorowicz brings a new perspective to strengthen sales and marketing efforts and pave new in-roads for the hotel to compete both regionally and nationally. His primary objective will be to uphold the hotel’s reputation as a preferred choice for meeting planners while continuing to grow its local leisure business. His efforts will include creating compelling programs to market the hotel’s primary outlets, including spa, golf, dining and meetings.
