Explorer Software Conference, Explorer Connections 2010, a Huge Success!

PRLog (Press Release) - Oct. 18, 2010 - Vancouver, BC - Explorer Software Group's Explorer Connections conference was a tremendous success this year. Held September 19th to 22nd at the Inverness Hotel and Conference Center in Englewood, CO, Explorer Connections was attended by contractors and industry consultants. They gathered for valuable training on Explorer products and to learn ways to maximize profitability and increase their bottom line. As one Explorer client put it, "Explorer Connections was like a conference on steroids - much bigger, better and more informative than the typical conference." Jim McFarlane, President and CEO Explorer Software, said, "the conference was a visible success. It was the best conference Explorer has held yet."

One of the main events was a silent auction with the proceeds going to the Mercy Home Foundation, a non-profit New Jersey Corporation created to build and maintain homes for mentally and physically challenged women. Mark Finelli, President and Owner of Mark Systems, an integrated homebuilder management software, started the Mercy Home Foundation. Mark Finelli said, "The generosity of the Explorer Software Group and their clients is extraordinary. Their donations have personally impacted the lives of hundreds of incredibly deserving, special needs women and children in India. Mercy Home Foundation does not have any paid staff, so this means the entire $26,364 that was raised goes directly to the building and maintaining of these projects." Shelley Hoffman, Director of North America Explorer Software, said, "the fact that two competing software companies were able to join together to make the silent auction such a success with all of the proceeds going to such a noble cause is truly fantastic."
