Oct. 18, 2010 - PRLog -- SAN DIEGO, Calif.—Publisher and Cofounder Steve Hoffman of Founders Space, a global network of founders and advisors, announced today the launch of a new Founders Space San Diego Roundtable to be held in October.  According to Hoffman, a Founders Space Roundtable is a monthly meeting “where founders get together and solve their most pressing problems.”

The San Diego Roundtable is free to founders and will occur on October 29th from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. in San Diego.  Interested founders can sign up for the Roundtable at www.foundersspace.com or http://foundersspacesandiego.eventbrite.com

San Diego follows on the heels of Founders Space Roundtables being launched in San Francisco and Los Angeles.  “A Founders Space Roundtable is not a panel of speakers, seminar or business mixer," says Hoffman.  "It’s a working session focused on dealing with tough issues startups face.  Each Roundtable tackles a specific subject, such as negotiating a term sheet, creating a marketing plan, filing patents, or raising venture capital.”

Hoffman elaborated that sessions begin with an industry expert, who provides an overview of the subject, as well as detailed business advice.  “The founders then break up into smaller groups to help one another address the issue as it relates to their own companies.”

Hoffman said that new Founders Space Roundtable chapters are evolving monthly.  “Boston is next on the list, along with Washington D.C. and other major cities.”
