Ethical businesses in BC receive recognition on Oct 26th in the Four Seasons Hotel, Vancouver

Oct. 15, 2010 - PRLog -- Ethical businesses, individuals and organizations in BC will soon receive recognition for doing that little bit extra at the third Better Business Bureau’s annual Torch Awards on October 26, sponsored by human resource consultants the Jouta Performance Group (http://www.jouta.com/).

The daytime celebration attracts many small- and medium-sized businesses and will feature the following awards:

• Marketplace Excellence: in recognition of superior commitment to exceptional standards that benefit others
• Advancing Marketplace Trust: presented to a business in recognition of advancing trust in the marketplace
• Consumer Leadership: presented to an individual who has significantly advanced marketplace trust
• Green Award: in recognition of sustainable business practices and/or positive social change
Previous winners include Lululemon, Silver Bullet Shredding, Chris Olsen from CTV and David Baines from the Vancouver Sun.

Cori Maedel, CEO of the Jouta Performance Group, will be attending the event and will be on hand to answer any questions that businesses or individuals may have about human resources or coaching.
