Craig Scott Entertains The President

Oct. 14, 2010 - PRLog -- On Wednesday, July 28, musicians from Craig Scott Entertainment’s extensive portfolio of the area’s premier entertainers performed for President Barack Obama.  
The occasion was a private dinner for 50 invited guests held at The Four Seasons Restaurant in New York City.

“Given the intimate setting and relatively small room”, said Scott Hornak, CEO and co-founder of Craig Scott, “we were asked to come up with a sound for the event that would be pleasing and would create the right atmosphere, but wouldn’t be ‘overpowering’.  We decided to use just two pieces - guitar and upright bass – and it was perfect!”  The duo provided background music for the event for nearly four hours straight, playing light jazz standards, as well as easy-tempo Motown classics, like “My Girl”.  “The musicians had a ball”, Scott said, and the guests really seemed to enjoy it.”

And how did the President feel about the music at his party?  Scott answers, “It was really nice that at the end of the event, as the President was leaving, he broke away from his entourage to personally shake hands with the musicians and thank them for the great music.”
