Yale University's Female Students Learn the Language of Leadership from Top Communications Expert
 
Oct. 14, 2010 - PRLog -- Carmie McCook, a DC based media interview and public speaking training consultant, was the guest speaker at Yale University’s Women’s Leadership Initiative October 13, 2010.  Her presentation, “The Language of Leadership: Look Like a Lady, Talk Like a Leader” was one of a series of workshops designed to help Yale’s female graduates develop their leadership skills. Each year Yale’s Women’s Leadership Initiative invites female executives from a variety of professions to share real-life advice on the skills necessary to succeed in today’s competitive marketplace.  

McCook, President of Carmie McCook & Associates, gave the audience guidance on how to be more credible, engaging, and persuasive speakers in settings as diverse as job interviews to business meetings. “The feedback we got from Carmie’s presentation was outstanding,” said Meng Jia Yang, the organization’s program manager. “The information she shared with us was so valuable. We definitely want to invite her to speak to our group again.”
