The night of Friday the 12th will kick off the weekend-long WEE event with a wine tasting and winery tour at the Chatham Hill Winery, North Carolina’s first urban winery. Afterward, the BPW/Raleigh Club will host an intimate afterparty at the Marriott RTP. Those who are registered to attend the Women Empowered and Enlightened Event on Saturday are welcome to stop by the BPW Hospitality Suite for networking. Registration for the wine tasting and winery tour is optional, and is priced at an additional $29, which should be included with event registrations. The afterparty is free to registered WEE attendees. On Sunday the 14th, guests are invited to attend a production of April de Angelis’s “Playhouse Creatures,” a riotous historical drama about women on the stage in Restoration England, at Meredith College.
