Victoria Theatre Association Welcomes the Second City Comedy Troupe

Oct. 14, 2010 - PRLog -- Victoria Theatre Association kicks off the 2010-2011 Universal 1 Variety Series with the Second City Touring Company’s Fair and Unbalanced, Saturday October 23, 2010 at 7:30 PM in the historic Victoria Theatre.

Chicago’s legendary comedy theatre travels to Dayton for one night of improv and hilarity. The Second City’s Fair & Unbalanced takes unbridled comic pleasures in the foibles of our politicians, celebrities and even our significant others. No institution escapes the satiric eye of The Second City - from the blowhards of the Beltway to the Hollywood elite. Ripped from the stages of Second City’s legendary theatres in Chicago and Toronto, The Second City’s Fair & Unbalanced is a hilarious ride through present day America.

Having just celebrated its 50th anniversary, Second City has an  alumni list that reads like a who’s who of American comedy: Alan Arkin, Joan Rivers, Robert Klein, Peter Boyle, John Belushi, Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray, Gilda Radner, Martin Short, John Candy, Bonnie Hunt, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Chris Farley, Mike Myers, Steve Carell, Tina Fey and countless others.
