Historic home tour in St. Petersburg, Florida

Historic Kenwood in St. Petersburg, Florida will hold a walking tour of historic bungalows and other home types this November.

Oct. 14, 2010 - PRLog -- Historic Kenwood's Art & Architecture: 2010 BungalowFest walking home tour will be held the first weekend in November.

Over the course of two days, more than a dozen historic homes will be open to the public. While most are beautifully-restored Craftsman bungalows, other home styles will be featured including Tudor Revival, Mid-Century, Beaux Arts and Cottage.

The Moonlight tour happens Friday, November 5th from 7 to 10 p.m. and will feature food and wine from local restaurants (Nitally’s, Queenshead, Savannah’s Café, Fresh Go and Cappy’s) and art from local craftsman (Sallie Hackett Brown, Ben Donnell, Pila Cadena, Eloyne Erickson, Mike Williams and Robert Bruce Epstein) at five houses. Tickets are $20 in advance/$25 at the door.

On Saturday, November 6th, a day-time tour of 12 fabulous historic homes will be take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tickets are $10 per person in advance/$15 day of.

Advance tickets are available at Craftsman House Gallery at 2955 Central Avenue and Dolan's Garden Center at 801-62nd Avenue.
