Akadema & Lubbock Christian University Agree to Exclusive Glove Contract

Oct. 13, 2010 - PRLog -- Hawthorne, NJ – October 13, 2010 – In preparation for the upcoming season, Akadema and Lubbock Christian University have agreed to a two-year exclusive glove contract for the softball team.  The deal will have the 2008 NAIA National Champions wearing Akadema gloves through the 2012 season.  New head coach, Daren Hays, leads a Lubbock Christian team that went 54-7 last year, for a #3 NAIA national ranking.  The team came up short on another national title this past season, losing to Bethel in NAIA pool play, but the Lady Chaparrals return four key players.  Returning to the team is NAIA Player of the Year, IF Kim Frazier and NAIA 1st Team All-America players C Amanda Parsons, OF Priscilla FaGaines, and Util Kayla Van Dieren.
