Oct. 14, 2010 - PRLog -- Trisha Gagnon will be on tour October,19 - 24, 2010, throughout Southern British Columbia
Featuring live performances of original folk and roots songs from her new CD, 'a story about you and me'. Founding members of the Jaybirds, John Reischman, and Jim Nunally will join this B.C. born songbird, along with American folk musician, Shaun Cromwell.

The proof, as they say, is in the pudding. Or in the wild raspberry jam  Trisha makes herself
on her farm and preserves in mason jars. They're for sale, seasonally, during set breaks at her shows. If you take home a jarful, you will no doubt find that the adjective chosen by folk music authority "Sing Out!" to describe Gagnon's voice was apropos in more ways than one: Irresistible.
Showcasing debut solo release, a story about you and me, Trisha reveals reverent yet playful songs, giving the power to refresh the soul through artful depictions of the things she finds most inspiring: landscape, family, nature, and the divine.

One of the acoustic world’s top-ranked mandolin players and composers, veteran artist John Reischman, renowned for his exquisite taste, tone and impeccable musicianship, will accompany Gagnon.  Third-generation traditional roots-musician, composer and record producer Jim Nunally, will contribute his unmistakably traditional guitar-playing sound and voice. Shaun Cromwell, Detroit-born singer/songwriter, firmly rooted
in the guitar and banjo styles that make up the pantheon of American folk music, will complete this quartet by weaving his roots-inspired voice with Trisha's.

Penticton, Nelson, Kimberley,Chilliwack and Vancouver, are the Southern British Columbia destinations for this CD release tour in October,2010.
