SAN FRANCISCO—Roger Royse, founder of Royse Law Firm, a corporate and tax law firm with offices in Northern and Southern California, announced the continued expansion of the firm’s cross-border practice with the addition of attorney Harpreet S. Walia and his US/India transactional law practice. Mr. Royse also announced the opening of a fourth office, this one in San Francisco, at the Stock Exchange Tower at 155 Sansome Street. “The addition of Harpreet Walia complements our robust international practice and beefs up our capabilities to serve middle-market clients with complex international transactions,”
In addition to handling India/US transactions for startup, emerging and middle-market clients, Mr. Walia provides legal representation in corporate law, corporate formation and counseling, commercial transactions, mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt financing, and real estate. Mr. Walia, formerly a partner with Virtus Law Group since 2000, has practiced law for over 15 years, including in-house positions. He has also served as part-time general counsel for multiple middle-market firms. Mr. Walia will office at Royse Law Firm’s new San Francisco office and plans to continue serving clients up and down the California coast.
Mr. Walia is a California-licensed attorney and holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of California, Los Angeles, where he graduated in 1991 with honors. He received his Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law in 1994. He is a member of the San Francisco Bar Association, the California Bar Association, and The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE).
