Oct. 13, 2010 - PRLog -- Wallingford, CT - Dexmet is encouraging engineers who are looking to improve their fuel cell designs to stop by booth# 403 at the upcoming 2010 Fuel Cell Seminar and Exhibition.

Steve Tucker (Product Manager, Power Technologies) of Dexmet will explain why ductile expanded materials are effectively used in current fuel cell applications. Unlike woven mesh which tends to unravel, expanded metal foils are designed as a single-unit structure which eliminates unraveling and provides excellent electrical conductivity.

Expanded metals are also light and strong, provide uniform conductivity and can be produced from a wide variety of ductile metals or polymers.

The 2010 Fuel Cell Seminar & Exhibition is being held at The Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas from October 18-21, 2010.

For more information on how expanded metal can be used in your designs call Steve Tucker of Dexmet Corporation at (203) 294-7866.
