The Mobile Security Conference is scheduled to take place in the Daniel Hotel in Hertzlia, Israel on November 4th, 2010. Logtel CEO Dr. Jacques Bensimon noted the heightened global interest in security threats and concerns by companies, consumers and governments. “In light of major transformations in the mobile security realm and with the introductions of new devices to the markets, central telecom players have set new directions and standards” – he said, adding the latest developments in the RIM uncertainty in UAE and India saying that “guaranteeing security from threats posed either by the handsets themselves or the applications running on them by consumers are a central issue for policy makers”
The conference will address both concerns by offering dual-track panels. Speakers include Mr. Ron Meyran, Director of Marketing and Security at Radware, (NASDAQ:RDWR)
The opening speech will be delivered by Mr. Dror Salev, CEO and Co-founder of DroidSecurity , the first full-featured consumer anti-malware and physical security app for Google’s Android operating system. Mr. Shalev will address the Smartphone evolution and the ongoing threats by hackers equipped with malware and viruses.
