Kopren Motors selected as South Dakota Independent Quality Dealer of the Year.

Oct. 11, 2010 - PRLog -- At the 2010 South Dakota Independent Auto Dealers Convention, Kopren Motors was awarded with the Quality Dealer of the Year Award.  This award is given out to the dealer who has shown the highest level of professionalism in their business, and provided a positive impact to their community.  

Ron Kopren and his son/partner Mike Kopren were both in attendance for the award ceremony.  The award was presented after the closing dinner event in the convention hall of the Cadillac Jacks Casino in Deadwood.  The award was presented by outgoing Independent Auto Dealers president Nathan Johnson and Jerry Vogeler the Executive Director of the South Dakota Independent Auto Dealers Association.

It was an eventful night for all who attended because South Dakota has not given out this award for 3 years.  Mike Kopren said," I had an extremely hard time choking out some words about my dad during the presentation.  I was so excited for Kopren Motors, but also for my father.  We have put in some extremely hard work over the last five years, but this award is a true reflection on the kind of person my father has been, in the car business, over the last 28 years."  You could tell by the faces in the crowd that Ron has been instrumental leader in his industry for years, and loved by many of his friends and colleagues.

Kopren Motors was the only dealer from South Dakota to attend the National Independent Auto Dealers Convention in Las Vegas this year.  With this award they will be proud to attend next year’s convention to represent South Dakota for the National Independent Quality Dealer Award.  "It was great to see that hard work and honest business still has a place in today’s society.  I have spent my whole life trying to keep my integrity, honesty, and most importantly my name clean and respected over the years, and this award proves that I have been doing something right.”, said Ron.
