Universal Hospital Services, Inc. named Best Blended Learning Program of 2010 by BizLibrary

Oct. 11, 2010 - PRLog -- Chesterfield, MO, October 11, 2010 – BizLibrary announced its user awards for excellence in learning at Align 2010, its user conference in downtown St. Louis on September 29, Universal Hospital Services, Inc. won the award for Best Blended Program. The award criteria required UHS to have been a client with BizLibrary for at least one year, use multiple areas of online content, use multiple learning management system (LMS) modules, develop a learning program that addressed specific organization needs, with regular measurements and consistent high participant feedback.

Universal Health Services, Inc. (http://www.uhsinc.com/) is a leading provider of medical equipment, management and service solutions to the US health care industry. UHS manages over 500,000 pieces of medical equipment for over 8,400 clients in all 50 states. UHS now has over 1300 employees and a nationwide presence. As a result, the organization needed a blended learning solution to meet the needs of a widely scattered workforce marked by high levels of diversity. UHS uses online content from a variety of BizLibrary partners including Skillsoft and Vivid Learning Compliance Content. UHS also develops some customized content in-house using Lectora. UHS uses the BizLibrary LMS, Company College, and takes advantage of several modules including classroom tracking and the certification module.
