Jet Airways honored at the prestigious 7th ‘Friends of Thailand’ Awards 2010

Oct. 11, 2010 - PRLog -- Jet Airways, India’s premier international airline, has been honoured in the ‘International Airlines’ category of the prestigious 7th ‘Friends of Thailand’ Awards 2010.

Mr. Gilbert George, Senior General Manager- Sales (India), Jet Airways, received the award on behalf of the airline at a reception organised by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) on September 27, 2010, at the Centara Grand Hotel in Bangkok, in the presence of several dignitaries from the Thai and international travel trade.

The ‘Friends of Thailand’ awards seek to honour foreign individuals and companies worldwide, who have contributed to the success of the Thai tourism industry, one of the most important contributors to Thailand’s economic and social development..

Jet Airways, which currently operates four daily, direct flights to Bangkok from three Indian gateway cities: Mumbai, Delhi, and Kolkata, was recognized for its efforts in boosting Indo-Thai tourism through its air services as well as its introduction of several attractive promotional schemes, including its popular JetEcapes travel packages, on these routes.
