Connecticut Used Dodge Dealer Announces Used Dodge Minivans

The fourth generation Caravan was available in a variety of different trims levels.  The two most popular trims of this generation, the Grand Caravan SE and SXT, are both currently available at Hartford used Dodge dealer Papa’s Auto House.

The SE is powered by a 180-horsepower, 3.3-liter V6 which the SXT is upgraded to a 205-hp, 3.8-liter V6. A four-speed automatic transmission is standard on both models.

In 2005, the Grand Caravan received the Stow ‘n Go seating and storage system, which updated the minivan to keep up with the competition.  The Stow ‘n Go allows owners to fold the second and third row seats into the floor to easily create more storage.  The third-row split bench can be flipped completely rearward to provide tailgate seating.

The SE has standard features that include 15-inch steel wheels, antilock brakes, a second-row bench seat, a 60/40-split third-row bench, dual manual-sliding doors, cruise control and a tilt steering wheel.  The SXT adds the Stow 'n Go system, dual power-sliding doors, a separate rear heating and air conditioning system, a power driver seat, 16-inch alloy wheels, keyless entry, and power windows, mirrors and locks.

There is also a long list of comfort options available on all trims, such as automatic climate control, leather seats, a rear DVD entertainment system and a navigation system.
Upgrades for the fifth generation of Grand Caravan include new engines and transmissions, the Swivel ‘n Go seating system, the MyGIG entertainment system, second and third row video screens and additional safety features.
