The annual fundraiser will include refreshments provided by area Coca-Cola distributors, and baked goods from the staff and students of Black Hills Beauty College. A local food vendor, Business Taste of Louisiana, will also set up during the event, with a portion of his earnings donated to the cause.
In addition, musician Toby Kane will play throughout the day, and students will draw for door prizes every half hour. The Cut-a-Thon will be held at Black Hills Beauty College in Sioux Falls, at 3501 S. Kelley Ave, just north of the Target parking lot.
Last year’s event raised $2,000 for Children’s Miracle Network, a non-profit organization that supports more than 170 children’s hospitals. The organization provides charitable care, life-saving equipment, research and education programs to benefit millions of children each year.
