HITECH Answers Supports National Breast Cancer Awareness with Drive to Put Pink Emblem on Websites

Oct. 8, 2010 - PRLog -- October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month.  In support of efforts to raise awareness to fight and cure breast cancer, HITECH Answers is displaying the pink ribbon on their website and asks other businesses to do the same. "People who know me know that I love football and glued to the TV this past Sunday I was truly inspired by the NFL’s on-field commitment to support National Breast Cancer Awareness month", said managing partner Carol Flagg.  "The uniforms, gear, footballs, whistles, wristbands all sported the iconic pink ribbon - even the goal posts were wrapped in pink."

HITECH Answers took a small step Monday by posting a pink ribbon on their site.  Now, they're hoping other companies will do the same, believing a lot of very small gestures will add up to one big impact.

"We're hoping 100 sites will post the pink ribbon emblem for the remainder of the month and we will donate $10 for each site that does, up to $1,000." said Ms. Flagg. "Once the image has been added, companies can e-mail info@hitechanswers.com with the link. Like millions of others, we’ve had people close to us struck with this disease. Some have overcome the struggle; more have not."
