IRIE! dance theatre Offers FREE Pilates Classes at Moonshot Centre

Oct. 7, 2010 - PRLog -- IRIE! dance theatre has received funding from Lewisham to support the running of three blocks of 10 FREE Pilates classes at Moonshot Centre.  The first block of classes will begin on Wednesday 13 October and the classes will run from 7:00-8:00pm.

While the classes are open to all adults, Lewisham is especially keen for women over the age of 40 to attend these special Pilates classes.  The first set of classes will be taught by Nickolove Lovemore, a Pilates Tutor, Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor with over 10 years experience in the health and fitness industry.

Pilates is a form of exercise that helps to improve core strength and flexibility.  It also helps to improve your body's alignment and posture.  Regular practice can help individuals to achieve a streamlined and toned body.  Pilates is also a great stress-buster. It helps individuals to improve their focus and concentration while promoting relaxation.

Physiotherapists often recommend Pilates to their clients as part of their rehabilitation as well as to help prevent the development of future injuries.  And it's a form of exercise popular with many celebrities.  For instance, Rhianna is said to be a fan of this form of exercise.

"In recent months we've had many requests for Pilates classes at Moonshot so it's great that we can offer these classes at this time.  And we hope that we will be able to offer even more classes in the future."
